Simply Clean 5, was Amazing! If you missed out, you need to absolutely call your work and schedule next year’s vacation. I really enjoy the basis of this meet. Friendly, no competition, just have fun with your friends and show off your car. With the attendance of this meet, all profits are going to charity, and they hold a food drive to help the homeless. How awesome is that, for a car community to come together and HELP other people?!
This year the event was held at the magnificent Destination Daytona sponsored by Bruce Rossmeyers Harley Davidson. It is a very large venue with three lots for show, lots of spectator parking, and lots of restaurants. The venue has an onsite hotel that allows lots of opportunity for people to come from all around the nation.
SC5 was no exception. Enthusiasts from near and far embarked on the best meet of the year. Team Vossen brought their Sema booth cars to the event, along with Air Lift Suspension. Many other vendors were on site such as Highwaystar Garage, Dub Korps, Lenso America, The Lowered Lifestyle, along with a lot of other talented and creative automotive enthusiasts. Once we got past the spectator lot (which was a show in its own), we made it to the first lot where the guys from Titan Motorsports welcomed everyone with their beautiful Orange BMW, and K3 Projekt had their world renowned flame throwing rat rod. We also were representing Team Rev Works in this section with several of our awesome builds. Once you thought you had seen it all, you find your way to the main pavilion.
This main pavilion hosted tons of amazing cars and companies like the Rocket Bunny S13, The Condukt.co crew, Air Lift Company, Ruck House, Slims beautiful Turbo RSX, and more. While trying to take in all the beautiful sights its almost impossible to not keep moving to the rest of the show to see just what is in store. As you continue through the show the amazement doesn't stop. Shop cars, booth cars, and an insane amount of clean cars as far as the eye can see.
Unfortunately this year the rain scared some people away early. Though Rain or shine the show must continue. We stayed and enjoyed the show for several more hours until the lot cleared and our brains were fried. I can honestly say I did not want this show to end. Though I now must say that we will be sure to have this on our calendar for next year, because it is a show you don’t want to miss.
